Since 2001, Mr. Ernst Bruder has been an independent IT consultant. Acting as a business angel, he is currently involved with several IT start-ups  in Switzerland and Ireland.  He also supports a number of smaller IT companies as an advisor or coach.

In 1979 he established EBOB AG, an IT service provider for manufacturing and finance industries. After a merger in 1991 he continued as as the Chairman of the Board and Co-CEO of the company (now called COMIT AG), that grew to become one of the leading IT consulting and software development companies for the financial industry.
