Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Martin Reber has been appointed CEO of SVOX AG on March 1 2009. Before that he worked as Chief Operating Officer and led the Professional Services department where he was responsible for the product management, customer care and integration activities for embedded products.

Following his studies of Electrical Engineering at the University of Kaiserslautern, Martin pursued his Ph.D. studies at the same university’s Institute of Microelectronics. His doctoral thesis was titled, "Design of Vertically Integrated Circuits."

Subsequently, he joined Philips Semiconductor in Zurich, where he was responsible for chip design for the international subsidiaries of Philips as well as the design and implementation of mixed analog-digital CMOS circuits for mobile communication applications. He also worked in Quality Assurance and Test Planning (DFT). During his tenure, he filed several US patents.

After completing a Postgraduate Degree in Management, Martin joined SVOX. Equipped with tremendous passion and far-reaching visions, he has driven the company’s focus on embedded solutions since December 2001.
